Meet the Team
“Founded by one, built to grow with many.”
Ash
Founder • Coach • Confidence Builder-
My jump rope story began in 2009, when I watched a local Canberra jump rope club perform at my school fete. One of the skippers was my cousin, and I was instantly captivated. I suffered severe anxiety as a child and always felt worried about trying new things. Curious and inspired by the performance, I decided to give jump rope a go.
By 2010, I had joined a recreational class and I moved into competitive jump rope in 2011, and haven’t looked back since. Over more than a decade of training, performing, judging and coaching, I have experienced almost every side of the sport, from local performances to international competitions and have progressed from learning as a child to leading as a coach.
Jump rope gave me a confidence I never thought I’d find. It helped me overcome my anxiety, connect with people all over the world, and believe in myself. I started to succeed in other areas of my life such as school and be more confident to try new things.
A coach at heart, I began coaching in 2017 and have worked with jumpers aged five through to adulthood. I spent four years as a Head Coach for recreational athletes, where my focus went beyond skills, prioritising confidence, courage, and a sense of belonging. My favourite part of coaching is building genuine relationships and creating a safe, supportive environment which gives students the confidence to achieve their goals.
Watching a child light up when they land a new trick or realise they can do something they thought they couldn’t, that’s the best feeling in the world.
I have also coached field hockey for 6 years, and have also worked with the Hockey ACT on the school roadshows program within ACT Primary Schools. I am very proud to be a Hockey ACT regional coach taking teams away to state championships all over NSW.
I describe my coaching style as patient, encouraging, and positive, always centred on helping each individual grow at their own pace and supporting them to achieve what they are capable of.

With more than 15 years in the sport, I recognised the need for programs that go beyond physical skill, programs that build confidence and connection, especially in schools.
After stepping back from competition and coaching, I realised I wasn’t ready to leave the sport I loved. In 2026, I founded Alzanti Jump, a business built from my belief that jump rope can change lives.
I want to share this sport with Canberra and all of Australia. Jump Rope as a sport has been around for generations, but is rarely recognised for its full potential. I want to grow it, build it, and show people how powerful it can be. Every detail, from session plans to resources, is designed to make jump rope accessible, sustainable, and fun.
-
My leadership is grounded in empathy and trust. I see every child, especially those who feel shy, different or overlooked and help them to feel capable to achieve.
I didn’t fit in the box at school, so I always notice other kids who didn’t either. I want every child to know they’re welcome, they belong, and they’re believed in.
Work With The Team
-
Alzanti Jump is currently founder-led. As programs grow through 2026 and beyond, we’ll begin inviting people who align with our values into support and coaching roles. We’re taking a thoughtful, values-first approach to growth, building a team of people who genuinely care about young people, sport, and the environments that are created.
-
We’re looking for warm, reliable, youth-centred coaches who value belonging, courage, and professionalism. Alzanti coaches are selected for more than skill, they’re chosen for their energy, empathy, and ability to create safe, high-engagement spaces where every student feels supported and capable.
Coaches interested will need to have a WWVP card in both ACT and NSW.
-
At Alzanti we want our coaching to mean something. Alzanti is built for people who care deeply about young people, love movement, and value kindness alongside professionalism.
We run with structure, but we lead with heart. We believe confidence is built through connection, and that the way students feel in our sessions matters just as much as what they learn.
Alzanti will provide a supported environment for coaches to develop while completing recognised training courses.
-
We’re not recruiting for positions just yet, but we are building our network. If you’d like to be considered for future roles, we invite you to submit an Expression of Interest. This allows us to connect with aligned people as Alzanti grows and opportunities become available.
Please complete the contact us form, telling us about yourself and what you would be interested in.
